Having spent many years at the coal face I now find myself blessed with the time an motivation to restore/refurbish one of Solihull's finest and before anyone says anything, yes I know what I'm getting into
I'm realistic about what might be out there but the following is a fantasy list of what would be the ideal vehicle for me. 1: 1994-99 300Tdi Defender 90 or 5 Door 110. 2: Mot failure for chassis and/or bulk head. 3: Moves under its own power with no major transmission problems. Don't mind an oil leak, or two. 4: Saveable body panels. 5: No wannabe monster trucks. 6: No Series vehicles. Been there and done that. I am happy to consider any vehicle if you think it might suit. Have you seen the 110 TD5 that's just been listed on here? lt's had the big ticket jobs (a new engine and chassis) but is ripe for further improvements by the look of it.
You won't get a 110 in serviceable condition for much less than that one's advertised for. And it's good enough to use while you improve it. |

Have you considered a P38? Rarely rust buckets no idea why they don't rust like others?
Lot of car for the same money as a wreck. |

Seller made contact through another SM Platform. 1995 300tdi CSW with seven original seats.
Needs a new chassis but bulkhead is excellent. Engine sound great and pulls well, Brakes are shockingly bad  Plenty of cosmetic stuff to do to although the front end of the car is in great shape. The tub will need some tlc. Believe the colour is Niagara Grey.
