Can you rest the trip?
I guess its working on the last load of journey and how its been driven? If its had lots of short trips in town then it could be... I don;t know how big the tank is but would say minumum 10 gallons? 28mpg 280 on fuel and 25 or so on EV? |

Looking it up the P400e has almost 90L tank
So almost 20 Gallons, so assuming 28mph that alne should give approx 560 miles never mind 25 EV miles... Try to rest all the trip computers |

Yes, a 20 gallon tank, that's why I was so concerned with the quoted range 262 miles minus the EV range is approx 240 miles, on 20 gallons would be an appalling 12 miles per gallon.
The car has definitely been doing a lot of short journeys with it's previous owner, it's 2 years old and only 8k miles. Hopefully resetting the trip computer will force it to recalculate. |

Hopefully it gets use to your journeys..
My wife has a P300e Evoque and for our use its ace, top up with the solar and its always on 35 mile range, nip out / school run... just uses EV. However people on the forum complaining about the mpg / range... it really depends on your use. I would think a P400e would do 28mpg at least driving steady and 25 miles on EV? Hopefully it improves a lot ![]() |

Have you got side boxes or a roof rack? In hybrid on the motorway I average around 30 to 40mpg, on longer journeys when battery discharged 20 to 25. Over the weekend around town and school drop offs etc purely on EV if charge regularly overnight. I came from a 4.4 V8 diesel Range Rover which wasn't as fast and was a strict 20mpg performer. a 2.5 ton box out accelerating most Audi A3s never gets old.
