SP Rear quarter panels, seal lip too short
Hi,

Replacing the rear quarters on my 110 300TDI with a pair purchased from SP and the lip on the new panels is around 2mm shorter than the original lip.

Any tips on what to do here?

If the lip you are referring to is the door seal retaining lip it doesn’t really matter as if done properly you will be drilling out the spotwelds and sandwiching the lip against the existing lip on the rear tub inner panel, which will still be full width.
