Tiny bit of Matt black paint very lightly dabbed on sorts that out.

IIRC there is a max torque setting for those, I think 8NM springs to mind, but I could be wrong on this.
(So don’t quote me on that, it might be 6NM as well, so it’d need to be looked up as I’m not 100%).

Often, myself included these have been fitted without doing that, so may have slightly been over or under tightened, plus the stress of being used as well by passengers, but it is stress cracks, similar to crazing on flexed paint.

The good news is it’s pretty much cosmetic and isn’t overly safety critical so not much to worry about.
