Phonecall about flat battery.
I had voicemail left last night from a woman at "in control secure" at midnight... saying the battery was flat on the Defender.

Yet I get in it this morning and starts up no problem.

I've heard about battery drain issues... does this mean I have that to look forward to shortly?

How old is the Defender and had you not used it for a while? l have heard of a few battery issues, the inverter can fail on the MHEV but if that was the case then the battery would be flat, and you said yours was okay.

People still make phone calls? I don't answer any phone call ever. In France they send you a letter if it is important.

2024/74 reg... and it's used daily.

Call was from 0203 514 7228 at 23:50 last night, but I wouldn't of answered the phone even if I had been awake.

I googled the number and it says it's tracking company, so I guess if I had answered they would have asked if it was still on my drive. Very Happy

I think the tracker unit has its own small battery , so that it works if the main battery is disconnected. Wonder if it’s that one they are talking about. Think I’ve seen posts about this one having to be replaced. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

Did you have Guardian mode on? If so anything that is monitored will result in a phone call from the tracking company, regardless of time, including battery issues.
