Looks great and must be bit of a wrench selling it as you have been lucky enough to have owned it from new.
I keep looking at these and seriously would like another one day before they become too hard to find, but would mean selling my Defender ![]() Good luck with the sale though ![]() 2002 Discovery 2 td5 GS (gone) 1994 Defender 90 300Tdi CSW (gone) |

That’s a lot of Land Rover for the money Blackwolf. I appreciate it’s a ‘need’ rather than ‘want’ decision which are always harder.
If I had the space (and a more understanding wife) I’d probably have had that off you as we all know it will be well maintained by you. Good luck with the sale - it’s going to be a bargain for someone 👍 |

Yes, it is a wrench and I am still not sure it is the right thing to do!
![]() My original plan was to keep it (which I'd still do if I had the space) since I reckon that it has the potential in the future to be a classic. But needs must, retirement approaches, space is limited and a new acquisition means that something has to go. At least through the forum I am confident it will sell to a good person who will appreciate what they are getting. I don't suppose that there are many one-owner-from-new D2s left now. |

From a fellow Disco 2 Td5 owner - looks great and a good price, I am sure it will be sold quickly.

It's a plug in performance booster. Not as capable as a conventional remap but easier to fit and completely removable. There are various gadgets which can do this but PSI are generally considered to be the best. |

As the new owner I feel incredibly fortunate to have been the first in the queue. It is fantastic, the body is corrosion free. A little elbow grease and paint on the chassis & it too will be tiptop. Having taken it on a long drive today, it is an enjoyable blast from the past driving a D2 again with perfectly functioning ACE.
Also treated her to a quick trip to the local car wash to freshen up. ![]() Click image to enlarge |
