Thanks for looking guys - I bought this at the end of last year after a trip to France and Spain and had intentions of doing some more travelling. We then started a house project in November and realistically with the project taking up time all hours, it is not going to be possible to use it till later in the year so decide to get a Expedition trailer instead which i can work on and build up over the next few months. The idea being, it gves us more flexibility to just jump in and go for a quick weekend/friday night camp out with everything already loaded, instead of the roof tent which ideally needs good weather and everything has to be stored in my vehicle.

it cost me £2690 and roof bars which were £195. I mounted it up but have literally not even so much as sat inside it, so took it off and it is now sitting waiting for a buyer. I noticed Tentbox are out of stock currently and hopefully someone is after one at the moment and can save a bit on a new model.

I am after £2400 ONO - I realise there are second hand tents out there for £1200-1800 so this might seem steep but this is the edition 2 with much better features - most importantly vents which stop it condensating on the inside so there is no damp. There are a number of other brands of tents now which are all import tents whcih after doing a few weeks of research, i decided that the tentbox cargo 2 is in fact one very well designed and thought out roof tent

I also expect it will hold its value being a limited edition LR model.
