Question regarding a tool kit for injector port cleaning
Hi, I have had the fortune of being gifted with a kit for injector port cleaning. I am looking forward to do the job and have acquired the copper washers and injector clamp + bolts. However I have read reports from people dropping the treaded plug into the cylinders. If anyone has the time and generosity to measure and report the dimensions of a plug, that was used successfully, I would be very grateful.

I have a 30l ultrasonic cleaner. Does anybody know if it would be a good idea to clean the injectors in that machine?

Thanks for the link. Lots of useful info. There is no talk of the size of the plug though (or I cannot find it). If anybody has as plug they know is the correct size, I would like to know the dimensions.

Another question to ask wil be . Is the size the same for the 2.4 and the 2.2 ? I ask as they do use totally different injectors.

Apologies I misunderstood the question and thought you were asking for the dimension of the cutter!
I have done this job quite a few times and never used a plug > 110 XS Double Cab

No worries. I am going to try and see if my plugs fit or else just be careful and clean vigorously
