Sankey Wide Track
not much to add. I bought this many years back circa 12 (?). had a cover made. changed to standard defender tow electrics. while I'd say its in good working order and in good condition that is merely my opinion. would much rather someone take a look and make their own mind up. unfortunately its not easy to access for photos should you require any further but hopefully below are sufficient - although I appreciate they're not great. £375. including NATO hitch. Hopefully thats a reasonable price - happy to receive constructive comments on the pricing. 420 views and no comments....
am I doing something wrong, is the price way out or are these things simply not selling anymore? I did at least expect some offers on the NATO hitch ..... although the trailer needs to go before I'd consider selling that separately |

thanks guys.
I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. I'll see if I can get one of the children to do the Facebook thing - not something I do. |

I think that to a significant extent the flood of newer, stainless-bodied Penman trailers on the market has hit Sankey wide-track sales, and like the earlier narrow-track trailers they have become more collector-oriented. That being said yours looks to be a good trailer at a very favourable price....
You could try listing it on Milweb and/or the HMVF forum. |

If you were closer I’d make an offer on your trailer. Let me know if your heading south

hi Dean,
thanks for the note. I'm going to say no - albeit I'm still in ownership of it. if something doesn't go to plan the weekend I'll let you know......and I'll endeavour to update this thread accordingly either way. |

Great to meet you too and thanks for the cuppa
And yes I’ll stick some pictures on here when I’ve done a bit of work on it, cleaning up/painting etc, and hopefully some trips away with it! Matt. '89 90 CSW with a 3.5 V8 conversion (WIP) - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic46809.html |
