detachable tow bar stowage

those of you with this type of tow bar and 7 seats, if you remove the tow bar, where do you stow it.
There doesn't seem to be a dedicated stowage area?
Are there any issues in leaving it fixed in place?

I left mine in place, never had any issues removing it on the occasions l've tried the release mechanism.

I would wrap it in something soft to avoid rattles. Then, will it fit in the space under the rear door window or under the boot floor?

it won't fit under the boot floor with the 7 seat model.

ive bought one of these and scraped the bag it comes in to it. sure it'll be secure.

Don’t they come with an insert for the bootwell anymore?
