Silicon silver with factory ppf
Will the roof of a Defender in Silicon Silver, with the roof in the same color, also be covered in matte PPF if I order it with a factory PPF wrap?

The factory satin wrap only covers the doors, bumpers, A-pillars, C-pillar square, hood, tailgate and fenders. The roof, grille, lower bumpers, and lower trim pieces are not wrapped. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

Basically only the body colour paint parts will be wrapped, my biggest issue with factory wrap is they don’t take off handles etc, they are just cut out.. so you don’t get a true coverage. I’m having mine done independently after delivery, also having all the black parts done in normal PPF for only a little bit more cost.

And what PPF will I get from the factory? (xpel?) If I choose a roof in the colour of the car, will it also be without PPF?

It’s xpel yes, only the dealer could tell you ref the roof… if it was matte wrap it would have to be done or it wouldn’t match!

I would humbly suggest you speak to an Xpel detailing company for a quote and they can
do the job as you wish, roof included.. I had the Xpel ultimate gloss done by a qualified company
who also provide a longer warranty on the film than JLR.. and do a more professional job in terms
of fitting yet another pommie bar steward down under
