I agree with everything said but it is "off" almost twice that amount.

Before I installed the tire I noticed it was fairly smaller than what I "calculated" based on the stated size. Apparently there are differences from manufacturer to manufacturer.

This is on a Puma.

What was the stock tyre size on before ? NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

They were K2's. Will have to check the size when I get home. Don't think they came with the OEM truck. They were on one-ton wheels.

For all I know the truck was "off" on the speedo when I initially got it before making tire/wheel switch. I just never had the GPS to prove it until now.

I was disappointed mostly because I thought my fuel consumption was "ok" before but now it seems rather poor.

I drive 70% highway and definitely have a heavy foot with an Alive tune for mixed performance/mileage (highly recommend). I get between 17-20 MPG. Thought I would get a lot more.

By the way, when you guys refer to "gallon" are most people talking "imperial"???????

Karlos (above) has a link to a brilliant calculator that helped me no end in deciding which wheel/tyre combo to go for to retain original rolling radius.

Karlos I think manufacturers always err on the side of caution and make the speedos over-read a little at higher speeds rather than under-read to prevent them from being sued in the event of speeding fines. Both my Landy and the Mini over-read in comparison to the satnav, the Mini by 2-3 mph and the Landy by 2 mph.

Correct.....US gallons.

That makes me feel a little better as some of the mileage threads refers to Better gas mileage and so I thought mine was really bad. But when accounting for the 20% more volume my gas mileage seems to be right on.
