Have you wired these as DRL's, or as additional lights when your sidelights etc are on? Mark

they are wired in as drl's they come on when the ignition is turned on and automatically turn off when the ignition is turned off very clever bit of kit i have isolated the wire which goes to the sidelight so they are one even when the sidelight are turned on but there is an option of making them go off once the sidelights are on

I use my 90 for vermin control and these LED DRL's would scare critters for miles and oncoming Citroens hurt my eyes so bad. As BMW found out with their Angel eye lights from the 1990's they will be copied by all the Nova and Corsa brigade and soon will look naff (i think they are already). 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Agreed, everything and everyone around is going to know where you are with those on all the time. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

ISTR Recall that DRLs must switch off when the side lights / main lights are switched on , if you watch Audis they even dim when the indicators switch

it was the light casing itself that rusted - but they were purchased from the cheaper end of the market - it may be worth making a mudguard for back side of the bumper to minimize the salt spray getting in? busdriver - very tidy work |
