And I loved your old 90! Definitely tempted to build myself something similar when I get back from Afghan next year, tired of challenge trucks, fancy more of a capable but comfortable toy. You any ideas where your tuck ended up? Ross The Scotia Winch Challenge |

Am currently building a 90 td5 that looks very similar to your 90 Steve except its got full external cage. Basically sold my challenge car in bits (as Ross should know,he had the axles
 ). Currently on the look out for some decent 33 at's to put on my mach5s when i sell my simexs 
Like Ross,i want a car that is reasonably capable but still has the practical side and isnt too single minded. After all it is my daily driver

My 90 went to a chap who has 'let it go'. Very scruffy now and really a shame to see it that way, I went to buy it back, but the guy NEVER sells anything......he still has an old school hybrid he built 20 years ago!
As you may know I was looking to buy something similar not long ago, but there is nothing out there that's meets my expectations.... Plus we are buying another house in the New Year...I keep looking though. My problem is.. I HAVE A CHAMPAGNE LIFESTYLE, BUT LEMONADE POCKETS
I have just acquired some Mach 5's though....and some steel one ton rims are waiting for me in the new year, so I'll need build a truck around them QRZ 2e0vpf |

Am currently running black wolf rims with 265/75 pirelli scorpion muds. going to strip the simex off my mach5s and get them powder coated ready for the 33s when i sell my simex
Im like you Steve,champagne lifestyle but on tap water pockets
Have also got some 1 ton rims that i am very tempted to get blasted and coated in old english white
