LT230 hi/low selector wear

Hi,
I was wondering if the wear on my hi/low selector is still acceptable.
On the vid it shows the wear on the low gear, the tolerance on the high gear (which is new) is much less.

Well there is a good amount of movement there for sure, but there is meant to be a bit as it is not a synchro-type selector. So if the two halves are too tightly meshed it would be very difficult to switch between High and Low and High, so there is built-in play to help with the movement.

Did you notice a problem with the hi/low selector before you disassembled the gearbox?

The majority of problems are through lack of use or incorrectly adjusted mechanism.

It is pretty normal for there to be a kuh-clonk when switching between hi/low.

thx geobloke for the reply.
no real issues with the high/low selector, not totally smooth but I believe not much worse than out of factory lool.
I am switching gear ratio and take the opportunity to replace all seals, bearings etc after 350k km.
But since it is disassembled I am checking around for gear wear as well.
I guess on the low it is not that critical as it is not used that often anyway, the high gear is new due to the ratio change there the fit is much tighter, so I suppose I am fine.
