Engine related whirring / wine and video upload ?
Hello all, I have a strange engine whirring / whining noise related to revs (stationary or driving). Can we upload videos on here to get some opinions, couldn’t find out with a search, sorry. Cheers.

Which engine do you have? Some people have had failure of the auxiliary belt tensioner on the D250/D300

Ah okay

You've posted in the "new Defender" section of the forum, you need to post this in the "TD5" section.

However the TD5 can also suffer from failure of the auxiliary belt tensioner, and the alternator can become noisy as well.
