Message from Land Rover Insurance
IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR DATA PROVIDED TO LAND ROVER INSURANCE PRIOR TO 1ST JANUARY 2024

Dear XXXXXXXX,

As a past customer and/or in relation to your provision of data to Verex Insurance Services Limited or Verex Assistance Limited (Verex) for products including Land Rover Insurance and Driveaway Insurance, Land Rover Accident Assistance and Land Rover Excess Protect, we are writing to inform you of a change in Data Controller.

Verex was an insurance broker that provided vehicle manufacturer branded car insurance products and accident aftercare services from a range of insurers.

The Verex business has been acquired by Car Care Plan Limited, an automotive industry leading provider of warranty and add-on insurance products, which means they will take over as Data Controller.

You can find our Fair Use Notice here: https://www.landroverinsurance.com/fairusenotice.

We retain data in relation to insurance policies for up to seven years as standard and three years for quotes and other products, to meet our contractual and regulatory obligations, before it is permanently deleted.

There is no action required from yourself and you can rest assured your data is stored and managed in accordance with industry best practices, The Data Protection Act 2018, and all other relevant regulations and standards.

Kind regards,

Land Rover Insurance
