Valve Spring Compressor
Looking for some advice on a suitable valve spring compressor for a 200tdi.
A link to a suitable tool would be fantastic.
Many thanks. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group

Are you doing the job head "on" or "off"?

With the head off, uncle has one but not sure if it's suitable yet. BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group

I've got one of these in the garage:

Used it on a Td5 head so see no reason why it wouldn't work on a Tdi.... You're more than welcome to borrow it.

Thank you for the offer, it looks very similar to the one my uncle has.
Might buy one of these as it's pretty cheap.

Easy to make one using a G clamp a a short piece of pipe with cutouts to reach the collets.
I use that method.. works a treat… maybe 10mins slower to take off and re put back the 8 valves. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
