Help please - Loose white wire behind dash...

Hi,
I have removed dash to enable me to replace wiper system on my 2012 110 TDCI Station Wagon.
I have found a loose white wire that branches out of the loom that goes into a 'black box' on the bulkhead on the drivers side (photos attached). Hoping I have not snapped something and that it is spare?

It's not an extension to the orange remote fob antenna wire is it? People extend this wire to improve the range > 110 XS Double Cab
