TamarBlue11, saves you from changing it all the time, just a check and a clean and that's it. You may get a little bit of a growl on tick over from the intake, which is funny to hear. Good filters used them on all my cars. My HDI has rocked one for 10 years, only replaced it last year, due to the age, installed on in the defender last year too, got shot of the cheap K&N thing. worth a punt
