United Kingdom 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Corris Grey
Twisted Sport / OEM Sawtooth / Blindo
My 90SW is running on the original Boosts and 235/85/16 Conti CrossContacts, but the rims are now badly corroded and the tyres approaching the end of their days. 95% on road use, they've done well.

Torn between Twisted Sport, OEM Sawtooth & Blindo wheels. All in 16" and shod in 265/70/16 KO2 (or similar) AT tyres. They all seem around the same price point.

Like the look of them all, so looks not a factor - but I'd appreciate any long-term experiences with the above wheels and tyre size combo especially relating to corrosion/wear/offset/other issues.

Did you mean 265/75r16 , not 265/70r16 ? as it’s the former that you would normally fit as a 265 on a 16 inch rim

235/85/16 = diameter 31.7 inch, width 9.3 inch (standard size)
265/75/16 = diameter 31.6 inch, width 10.4 inch
285/75/16 = diameter 32.8 inch, width 11.2 inch
255/85/16 = diameter 33.1 inch width 10 inch

Blindo are heavy - this will have an impact on fuel economy if you do lots of urban driving.

They look good for the 'gram though Wink

Would that be their "road spec" as that is what I have on mine however I'm sure it doesn't look as low...

Perhaps its just the aftermarket arches that make it look that way. Luke Marsden

LJMARSDEN - if those are the Lucari XTR2's then they are lovely wheels. I did want to go for these but i do think that the bowler wheels have to look the nicest on a defender....
