They most definetly do stretch.

Use new bolts every time or they will just leak again. 2011 130 Utility Body

Just sourcing all the parts/tools required to do this job also.

Empire tuning do a complete kit inc the rocker gasket which is handy.

For anyone interested. I’ve just had mine done today. I couldn’t find the time to get around to doing it myself, so I paid my indi. £175 labour and I supplied the Empire Tuning kit as linked in 2 posts above.

I was really pleased with the small bill to avoid getting my hands dirty and an afternoon of swearing.

Engine sounds completely different and quiet again now. Well worth doing. 2017 5.0 V8 Supercharged RRS SVR

Hi all, doing this soon as I have an oil leak, also doing egr at the same time as died! I’ll be doing the following,
- injector seals, injector seat cleaning, rocker gaskets, stretch bolts, inlet manifold gaskets, egr replacement + gaskets. (Egr blank & delete coming later).

Anything else I’m missing?

I have been quoted £200 +VAT to replace the seals? Would reallyblike to have a go myself , but somthings telling me to leave this job . ........

Do it yourself and buy the tools - it’s not a bad job. And you’ll have the tools for next time also. Likelihood is the garage won’t clean the seats as good as they should be either. 2017 5.0 V8 Supercharged RRS SVR

For TDCi and TD5 I use 1745000 and 1750000. Circa £200-ish for the pair.

I note that there is also now 017500v2 which seems to be a combination of the two above at about the same price as the two above together but of which I have no experience.

That’s all will happen with the ‘dirt’ is that the engine will combust it and get rid of it anyway. No harm to be done. 2017 5.0 V8 Supercharged RRS SVR

Hi ,

Best place i could order injector seal kit for a 2.4 . Bolts , seals, washer's would like.them for the weekend. I.dont need a.rocker gasket

But getting the whole kit might be quicker and better. I got the Empiretuning kit and worked a treat.

Edit- forgot to say that the Advance website will give you the part numbers, so you'll have to source all individually. That will be a pain.
