[For Sale] 2006 td5 110 xs dcpu defender double cab
231009-444 order no for advert

2006 td5 xs dcpu defender double cab 110

for sale on behalf of the owner , a land rover lady that isn't on this illustrious forum.

She has decided to part with her rather shiny defender to dip a toe into the world of v8 auto classic range rovers......

price wise 24k ( on ebay for 25k) for forum member's.

here is a rather long spec.
and there ar eplenty more pictures. ill happily pass on interested parties car is in bb4 area with me for viewings.
Factory specification 5 seat xs model

Complete with winter pack.
That means heated front seats and heated front screen.
Ideal for those cold autumn and winter mornings.
The air conditioning has just been serviced and regassed and is now ice cold.
alloy gear and transfer box knobs.

One of the best colour combinations of Bonatti Gray Metallic with gloss black contrasts and roof.

Running old man emu suspension and a 2” lift to accommodate Bf goodrich mud terrains wrapped around colour coded alloy wheels.

Nas rear step and towbar

Rear tailgate has been converted to side opening with a gas ram to stop it blowing close on those windy days.

Genuine lr steering guard
front and rear diff guards

Colour coded rock sliders. no need to worry about car pack dinks anymore.
i dont think the lady owner has ever taken it off road but its built for that if you want to get it muddy.

The low miles is mainly due to weekend use and its a 3rd car.
Rear canvas is a high-quality waterproof aftermarket one.
Double din, dab , apple car play stereo conversion.
Upgraded stereo speakers.
Tracker fitted and this can be transferred to the new owner (subscription not included)
Fully serviced and just sailed thru its mot.

Regularly cleaned and detailed by Revive detailing.
And this was their own weekend car before the current owner bought it.
look them up and the quality of vehicles they work on.

Has been Dintroled in the past.
just had a full lanoguard anti rust treatment .

plus cavity wax (clear / amber type)
Central locking fitted and working.

Nakatanenga premium interior door handles ( they allow a bit more room )
Raised drivers seat rail for more leg room.
Colour coded chequer plate all round.
colour coded wing mirrors.
Dirt defenders to rear wings (helps keep the road grime down)
Croytec alloy upgrades all over the cabin including the bezels and vent knobs.
Mudstuff upgraded heater vent with adjustable top vents and extra side window vents to aid demisting.

Mudstuff under cubby box locker.
Bombproof door hinge guards all round.

lof clutch pedal spring
lof clutch slave cylinder upgrade.
flywheel and clutch replaced with a heavy duty one (not recently)
these combined give a lovely light pedal feel, most unlike a Lr and its a pleasure in traffic now.

Remapped by Bas so it goes as well as it looks.
Stainless steel Griffin performance exhaust with twin tailpipes.
this gives it a lovely noise under full throttle but subdued when cruising.
transfer box was rebuilt by Ashcroft transmissions and upgraded to a 1.2 hd spec.
this allows a better mway cruise and better fuel economy.

Dynamat soundproofing helps keep the noise down to acceptable levels.

front recovery eye fitted to front bumper (they look unused)
led headlights.
led lights all round
it has some extra security on it which can be shown on inspection.

plenty of service and maintenance bills .

This car will qualify for USA export when it reaches 25 years of age in in the future, which should impact it's value positively.

Hpi clear

2 sets of keys

Great service history.

Those aren't Blindos, they're the poor relation of the Blindo, the Dakar.

The give-away is the spoke spacing. Still nice, just not as nice! Laughing
