Genuine giveaways at car collection
Dear community,

what giveaways are usually handed over when collecting a new Defender?

I‘ve heard something about a key box with two different key chains… how does it look like?
And… is there anything else?

Cheers!

We got a key box with the two keys, a LR key chain, and a hamper with wine, crackers, biscuits and so on. Plus I'd asked for the Lego set of the new Defender when ordering. All in the boot when we collected the car.

I already had another LR key chain from my D4 that I wanted to keep (from a mate-former army) for sentimental reasons.

You don't get a glove box handbook as everything is online, you do get the walk through and set up of the In Control account.

Oh, and a full tank of fuel, private plates (that I supplied) fitted with stainless anti tamper screws.

Only let down was the wrapping protective glue residue was still there, but a complimentary full detail by JLR a few days later sorted that.

I got an aluminium drinking flask, two key chains and the car.

What I wasn't expecting was a long blonde hair on the back seat, not enough fuel to get home and number plate obscured with APPROVED written on it !!!

If you get anything it won’t have been free, the extortionate amount you paid would have a margin for such complimentary items Whistle Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…
