This has been bubbling in the background with some of the major manufactures as sales of EV's are stagnating and even dropping, no matter what the press with their agenda is saying.

VW recently laid off staff due to lack of EV sales even with the 0% finance deals and Ford dealerships in the US are struggling to sell stocks of Mustang E's and Lightnings.

Interestingly i saw that Ineos are investing in Africa and looking for other countries that are not in a desperate race to the bottom. Will other companies follow or risk going out of business.

Recently the Chief Fireman in Florida sent out a warning to EV owners caught in the hurricane due to potential sea water getting into the battery pack. The warning was not to charge the vehicles at their own homes.

Throw in the costs of the vehicle over the equivalent ICE model, the increase in insurance and a minor bump could result in the vehicle being written off because the insurance companies wont take the chance of a returned vehicle then going into a thermal runaway.

And recently it appears that Tesla are the worse car company in respect of protecting the clients personal data.....and you cant opt out without the message telling you that failure to agree to the data harvesting will result in reduced performance and functionality.
