 and I suspect the issue is the oil has been overheated by whatever .. blow by gases, lack of oil changes and the oil degrading etc etc.. I just can't see how the egr system has contributed to that as has been suggested, is all im saying.. | ||

 On its own I don’t thing the egr would cause the OP’s issue, but coupled with lack of oil changes could be a contributory factor. | ||
