My heater directional controls are very stiff (enough to have broken both the knob and the control unit channel guides under previous ownership). I've managed to free things off a bit and now have three options working. Before I replace the control unit (broken guide on wheel) I want to be sure the actual baffles are free running- I'm pretty sure this is what causes the stiffness. Presumably a dash off job, but any advice appreciated on how to fix the issue.
Whilst the dash is off I also intend to: replace the heater dash bulbs identify/fix a footwell leak Anything else I should sensibly look at whilst its off? Thanks. |
