Expected Lifespan Goodyear Adventurer A/T
Having delayed my order for a 110 D300 in February due to supply issues, I am now going to place my order this month as dealer states matters have improved and with lead time of circa 6 months I can expect full spec as ordered.

I am ordering the Off-Road Pack as feel the OEM Goodyear Wrangler Adventurer A/T tyres will be sufficient for my needs but have 3 questions if anyone can help:

1. The tyre label states summer tyres but also M/S which seems to be a contradiction - are these good for all year use?

2. What average lifespan mileage could I expect to get from a set of these tyres - one website stated 50,000 miles which seems wishful thinking?

3. Anything else I should be aware of?

They work fine in winter. Obviously not a proper snow tyre but no issues with road holding in rain or cold temperatures etc.

I only managed 35k out of mine, which was disappointing. They would probably have gone a bit further if I’d swapped them front/rear to even out the wear, but I changed them for proper off road tyres after puncturing the second one on a flat track. They’ve got uselessly thin sidewalls and treads for off road use.

Regarding the life span, does it make sense to rotate with the spare wheel, i.e. change every 5k the spare with another tire?

It’s about 5000miles and 2 days of Iceland. The side wall of the Adventurer is just not strong enough imho. I wish LR put Duratracks on the Defender. Way better tyre.

47,000 miles so far and still plenty of tread left. Mainly road use. 5 tyre rotation pattern every 5000 miles. L663 D300 SE MY22.

The Duratracs on my 110 weren’t much better for sidewall slashes unfortunately. I’ve had one slashed at 3000 miles and another that I thought was slashed but in fact the bead had a twig lodged in it.
I’m running my new 90 on Adventures this time as part of the offroad pack

The LR approved Adventurer A/Ts don't have Kevlar reinforced sidewalls and as far as I know, neither do the LR Duratracs.

Having said that, I've the Adventurer A/Ts and they are fine in the wet/snow. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

I drove the Duratracs on a 1500 truck and they were reinforced. Very good tyre. Didn’t know the LR Duras are not reinforced. Is it because of the size or for comfort reasons?

Either way, I’m driving the Yoko Geolandar G015 now for 6000km road and 1500km gravel road and quite sharp lava roads and I don’t know if the sidewall is reinforced but in similar situations the Yoko hasn’t burst so far.

The Icelandic tyre guy said that he absolutely dislike the LR Goodyear. And there are a lot of new Defenders and Discos driving around here. L663 is a very popular car here.

I believe that there are two versions of the Duratrac and Adventure available - those with the LR oval moulded in the sidewall and those without.
