SOLD Melvillle & Moon ‘Land Rover’ Chair

Rare & collectible Land Rover branded ROORKHEE CAMPAIGN Chair by Melville and Moon.

This was from back when Land Rover used to offer cool stuff within its accessory range. I bought this direct from the Land Rover stand at an Eastnor LR show a good few years back.
Made from African Mahogany wood, canvas, with leather and brass hardware.
Supplied with its original canvas storage bag and assembly instructions.

I had this in a home office as more of a display piece rather than a piece of furniture. Moved house and now have nowhere for it to live.
There is some evidence of the canvas fading due to sunlight but it’s only noticeable when you compare the colour within the rear pouch pocket.

There is a small repair to the end of one of the batons.

I too was there at Eastnor that year. It was part of a LR Coffee tent. (I think from Canada ?)

Well I bought 3 and sold 2. I do remember what I was paid as well.
