Scissor jack.
Ive never been a fan of scissor jacks and got a adapter made up for our discovery to put on a sprinter bottle jack, this worked very well for the discovery, would it work for the defender L663?

If lifting any vehicle on a seam seal jacking point then get some cheap ice hockey pucks and cut an appropriate slot in them. Cheap and very effective.

I use a router to cut slots but a saw and chisel can do the job if you do several saw cuts.

You can also cut them to shape to fit on top of axle stands.
