Rear door lock barrel seized
Hi all,
I'm having an issue with the rear door (cargo area) lock barrel on my 2008 110 hardtop 2.4 Puma. The lock barrel had been turning smoothly, up until yesterday when the barrel seems to have seized in the vertical position. I've tried copious amounts of WD40 overnight, which doesn't seem to have freed it and also tried some lubricant on the key before putting it into the lock barrel- none of which has had any effect. I can still open the door by climbing into the back through the bulkhead and flicking the switch from the inside, but no luck on the barrel moving.
Anyone got any ideas? Would rather not replace the barrel if I can just grease and fix this one.
Thanks!
