Not paying attention!
Was logging yesterday. After all our work and the Sqankey being full up i set off. Had forgotten about the waterlogged top end of the orchard and set off adjusting the radio rather than selecting low range and diff lock. Numpty.

The 1950s Ferguson T20 had to come to the rescue once i had dug the wheels a path in the (very thick and sticky) mud. In my defence, the ground looked solid as a rock Embarassed Laughing

It's always good to know what will get you stuck. First time got it stuck with the BGF ATs on.

ATs are fine in all but very bad mud, there's a lot to be said for good driving. The best tyres in the world won't make up for someone not paying attention to their driving. Bl**dy sankey full of wood didn't help. I had uncoupled it at this point to assist the recovery!

If i was going to get MTs i might as well buy a tractor in the first place!!!!

That's not stuck - just a temporary loss of forward momentum!
