Help identifying a part!
Dear Defender community, after installing (successfully!) a cruise control kit, I was left with a part that fell to the ground from the engine compartment... oh no! It was found right in front of the foot well where the pedals are bolted through. It is metal, brass or steel, hard to tell. Can anyone recognize the pictures?

Looks like the underside part of the aerial fixing where it passes through the hole in the wing.

United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Firenze Red
JCW - That is it exactly .. its from a wing mounted aerial
I had my aerial out last week replace it with the Nacca.. digital one, and that is a part of the original aerial that I removed .. I was looking at the pictures and knew I had seen that part recently !!

So its nothing to do with you fitting the cruise control - hope that helps !

Mystery solved! And that also explains why the radio reception was spotty. The aerial is rotten. Thanks all!
