Meet up in North Beds with over night camp and green lanes?

Hi all

Now that the weather is getting better and the evenings lighter I wondered if anyone would be interested in a meet up in the North Beds area with the opportunity to overnight camp at a country pub and do a couple of the local green lanes?

Guys, (and girls!) there is a local pub that has a camping field. If enough folk are interested I’ll make some enquiries on price and availability.

We have a few easy green lanes in a 5 mile radius of the pub, but these don’t open until 1st May

The pub is in North Bedfordshire near to the Northamptonshire boarder, close to the town of Rushden.

Morning all

I have a conversation with the Landlord of the St John’s Arms regarding a meet and an over night camp in the field behind the pub. He is going to get back to me, but appeared to be onboard with the idea.

As I said, the pub is within 4-5 miles of some good, easy green lanes where you won’t damage your Landy. There is also a big out of town shopping centre (if that’s what floats your boat) called Rushden Lakes around 10 miles away.

The pub is circled in red and very central to the 3 nearest green lanes. Twinwoods 4X4 is around 5 miles from the pub so if anyone wants to buy and collect any parts this is very convenient. A good article here about the green lanes I am talking about.

I would suggest that if there is enough interest we meet up in early May? Let me know if anyone is interested and I will crack on!
