Radio Code 2011 Defender
Hi,

I have a 2011 Defender with original radio XQE500540 which needs a radio code after some maintenance.

I've been to the local LR dealer in Oslo who can't find anything in their system and didn't get anything from their contacts in UK either.

I was advised to send an inquiry to info@landrover.no They could not find anything in their system either and have forwarded the request to England. I have the serial number available.

Since it locks after 3 mistakes, I don't want to try too much weirdness. I have also tried onlineradiocodes.co.uk with no luck. Does anyone here have any good advice?

/Best regards

Mine was on the actual unit!! That was after going into the dealer and getting the code from the parts dept then taking it out and realising I had wasted a 40min trip! 1951 80" S1 2.0

When the vehicle left the factory, the code would have been taped to the battery so that on PDI the radio could be enabled. If the radio and battery are the originals, the label may still be there.

Here in the U.K. I've used this company https://www.onlineradiocodes.co.uk/ maybe there's similar in Norway or perhaps they can cover export models as well.
Good luck Thumbs Up

OOPS sorry just read your post properly Whistle Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Hi, I have the same problem, no radio code for a Defender 2010. How can I take contact with LR UK to request the code?

Regards!
