E.C.D. company walk around with Shmee 150
A more interesting video than I had initially expected, it looks like quite a high quality product they produce there.

Its mind blowing the money spent on a Defender considering that even after all the QC and sign off they will just rattle, leak and self adjust again in 6 months time Laughing

Also I do chuckle every time someone says its totally unique but has the optimil catalogue thrown at it with a Nakatnega grill and a Puma dash conversion trimmed in cream leather.

I will never get my head around fitting a Puma dash to any Landy as you lose the best bit, the vents.

I'm with you Haggis, it's a Defender not a Range Rover.

I got rid of my Range Rover because I want to put two muddy Labradors in it and not worry; I can hose it out later. White leather seats and walnut floors do not mix well with muddy dogs.

I've had both, I recently sold my TD5 as I needed something my wife could drive (had to be an auto for her to tow with) so I've currently got a TDV8 L322.

I love them both for what they are but I do treat them the same, they both get filled with stuff for the horses and dogs, both get driven in and out of muddy fields full of fence posts and the like.

But and the big but for me is I wouldn't ever want my Defender to feel like a Range Rover. The sheer joy of it was it never really got washed and it had totally bare floors with no carpet or anything to trap muck.

Thing is though, with a few clever tweeks it wasn't that loud to drive considering it had no carpets. I did the closed cell foam in the roof which took out 50% of the noise while not making it compromised. I cannot fathom the lunacy of putting any form of carpet in a Defender.

I quite often did 4-5 hour stints in it to and from Mull and didn't it that bad.

I’ve mentioned carpet in a defender being daft. When the run out for the last of the classic defenders was on everyone was ticking all the boxes.

But each to there own and it’s another one that will remain in good nick for a few more years. Some 2.2 defenders are now 11 years old.
