1998 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Java Black

Cassette radio code

When I bought my 1998 Defender it still had the cassette radio fitted but it required a code because a new battery had been fitted so I replaced the cassette radio with a newer Sony head unit because I liked it and it had bluetooth.

Recently I discovered a stash of cassettes and, not having many CDs any more decided to refit the cassette radio but can't see if it works because the code is required.

I haven't found a code written anywhere in the vehicle or on the head unit and am reluctant to spend £20 on a device which might not work when unlocked.

Any ideas on what else I could try?
