2 ‘Cruisers, 1 Patrol and a Defender forge a new trail
I’m a big fan of Ronnie’s YouTube channel, but he doesn’t normally have much Defender content. This one is an exception showing them forging a path through some pretty extreme terrain with a Defender amongst the group. Sure makes me wish I lived in Australia…

It’s good to see how the Defender performs so well alongside the others. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

oooh thanks for pointing that out. I used to be a big follower of this channel (even a patreon) but it went off the boil for me and I stopped even watching it. I shall look forward to watching this episode this evening Very Happy 2005 Td5 90 XS

Definitely agree the channel went off the boil a bit when he went full time YouTuber followed by COVID. He’s found his way now though and I think it’s really good most of the time. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I watched this video last night. The 110 seemed to make light work of most of the obstacles.I'm guessing it had diff locks fitted....

Yes I watched both video's, Ronny's and the other chap (Sidetracked?), and enjoyed both of them.

The only gripe I had was that on camera, the slopes didn't look that steep! I'm sure they were in reality, and when the 110 came *very* close to tipping over I was on the edge of the seat.

The Sidetracked chap was complaining that low ratio transfer box wasn't low enough - I can't say I've ever had that problem myself but then I'm not regularly ascending cliff faces. There isn't an option is there to reduce the low ratio gear set further? 2005 Td5 90 XS
