Link Rods
Hi

Just bought a new (used) defender. It’s got 1.5” lift link rods on the air
suspension. I want to set it back to normal as it’s going to be used mostly on the road. Anyone know the length of the standard link rods? Don’t seem to be able to buy them without the height sensor and 4 of them is pricey!

Thanks

Can you contact the previous owner? They might still have the original parts.

Already asked. As an alternative does anyone know how long the 2” lift rods are? Then I can work out what the originals were. Thanks.

The Allmakes Terrafirma adjustable lift rods apparently go from standard height to a 2" lift. These are listed for a D3&4, but if the L663 rods are different, the seller will be able to help. (I not so familiar with them as I have never used rods due to the IIDTool having this capability electronically Cool Actually, come to think of it, you could leave the present rods in place and adjust the suspension back down with an IIDTool... Laughing )

1 inch lift links

Long link = 5.5 inches

Centre of each hole in mm would be better, look like they’re actually a bit over your measurements. If it’s anything like a discovery 3 1mm rod length equates to 5mm difference in car height Exact measurements would be good.

That's the camera angle - they are not over. I'll get mm measurements for you
