Looking to buy a 08 TDCi CSW or USW
Hi all,

After nearly a year without a Defender I am now back in the market! Went to look at an OK-ish 08 plate CSW in E London which was just a little too "used" for my tastes & the chassis had a fair amount of surface rust too which I found unnerving also!

The Injector rail was also v rusty which seemed odd - is that a common issue?

Finally, any pointers on what I should look for or avoid? I am not scared of getting underneath & dirty & can spot repaired accident damage but anything else?

All injector rails get rusty its not a problem.

My god, what a superb choice of colour!.......you have good taste sir Wink

It's missing the side step/bars (assuming it's an XS?)........so make sure you get them thrown in/fitted. You can always sell them on if you don't want them!

Yes the steps are included & will be fitted prior to sale. It did have an A bar also but the owner has taken it off to put onto his new Defender which is a shame as it has made marks & really I must get a replacement now.
