[Sold] 2013 Defender 90 HT

I can’t believe I’m writing this ad, but I’ve landed a pretty dream job that means a bit more travel and unfortunately the 90 has to go. Gutted! I genuinely didn’t think I’d ever sell it so it has been maintained to last a lifetime. However, I don’t have the space to keep it, or deep enough pockets to stick it into storage indefinitely, so here it is up for sale £28k and it’s yours. Sensible offers will be considered, but I’m not in a mad rush.

Pretty confident that this is the best condition Defender on the market today, there might be some equally good but I’d wager nothing better. It drives incredibly well. There is a somewhat custom dog box in the back that can go with it if the new owner has a use for it. The plate isn’t included and it will go back to its 63 plate. 95,000 miles, but will rise as it’s will still be in use. Will have it professionally cleaned, polished and valeted before collection. It has been maintained at any expense. The paint work is in superb condition and the Loire Blue really looks good. I have a brand new stage 2 transfer box on order from Winchester Gears, delivered on 20th Dec. I will have it fitted, or will knock £300 off the price to cover you getting it fitted yourself if you’d rather.

Full Service history, plus oils and filters every 6 months.
All receipts for all work kept and will be provided.

I’m a chartered engineer and its a development of the existing role, but now covering sites across the UK hence the need to cover more mileage. The landy would be absolutely fine for it, but I just can’t face racking up the mileage on company business. If I had the space I’d keep it but I just can’t find a way to do both so it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.

co1 such a shame after all the work you have put into this, I use mine everyday for work following the thought pattern I have modified this to how I want it and now I'm going to drive it and enjoy it and make the most of it.
Im sure you will regret selling such a fantastic defender but who ever buys it will be very pleased to have got a stunning well cared for nicely modified defender.

Thanks Suli, I’m convinced I will regret selling it, but I don’t really have any other options! I don’t have the space to keep it and another vehicle, and just can’t justify sticking it in storage.

I’ll be hanging around the forum though as my new mile muncher is a L663 defender 90 HT in Blue with anthracite wheels!! That’s thinking very much inside the box!

Keep the 90 sell the new one. Use the 90 till the engine goes then put in a v8.

All should be cheeper than when the new one starts to play up. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details
