For sale -
My mk2 sankey converted camping/expedition trailer.
Built by myself 5 years ago, i have used it for summer holidays in the UK.
The sankey is as follows
Mk2 with drum brakes
Extended A Bar at the front by 500mm, this allows back door of a defender to open fully and tows a lot better.
Electrics have been converted to 12v and fit into 7 pin plug.
Painted Land Rover Bronze Green (will come with 5L i have left)
Still has NATO ring.
Rear canopy is manufcatured steel frame which has been galvanised, i then put aluminium side panels on this. All seams were selaed and the aluminium riveted on.
3 x doors, 1 x central door on the offside, perfect for access into trailer from the tent annex room, 1 is used for the fridge slide, 1 is for the kitchen area.
Fridge slide manufactured by myself and is for a 60Litre ARB, smaller fridges will fit on the slide and work with no issue at all. Kitchen area i have fitted cup and plate holders, this area also has storage for stoves, pots and pans. the door for this area is on a chain so doubles up as a table too.
12v lighting, the trailer has 2 x 12v led strip lights inside the canopy, 1 x flood light externally, 2 x led lights to kitchen area. More can be added. The 12v is powered by a 120amp leisure battery, from the battery there is also several USB and 12v sockets, the external 12v sockets are all by Blue Sea (waterproof) and not cheap chinese ones.
I have installed a 12v battery charger that is 240v powered, this can be plugged into the 240v hook up when connected and keeps the battery charged. it also keeps the fridge running for about 3 days when fully charged with out being charged.
There is also a twin 240v socket internally.
Inside the canopy i have left it as bare aluminium finish as the natural shine of it reflects light around the inside of the canopy. the base of the trailer is grey anti slip lino, the same stuff that's found in some kitchens.
Externally the trailer has extended A bar which houses the spare wheel and 2 x jerry can holders.
The wheels are Land Rover wolf wheels and the tyres are 235/85/16 Goodyear Wrangler MTR, these are both as new having done less than 1000 miles.
Tents - Howling moon 2.4m roof tent, slept in maybe 20 times. the annex has been used maybe 4 times. Both are in very good condition. The awning is again a Howling moon 2.5m with room. Great addition and is again in good condition.
I bought the tents new from Flatdog.
The trailer has been stored indoor since i built it along with the tents so they have not had the weather on them like some.
I intend on keeping the ARB fridge and stoves/pans but everything else comes with the trailer.
As shown in the pictures i would like £3750
Minus the tent £2350
Minus tent and awning £2100
