Driver display brightness

The driver display (not the center display, the driver one)
I have it set with speedo & Rev counter to each side and sat nav view in the middle
I can adjust the brightness with rotary knob - but the only varies the dial brightness
What I am trying to do is keep the sat nav in the daytime lighter colour all of the time
As soon as it starts to get dusk the sat nav gods to a dark view
I’ve tried changing the setting for the center screen but that has no effect on the driver display
