2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Aintree Green

Rear wiper issue

My rear wiper stopped working about a week ago.

Had assumed that it has seized, but took apart and the motor spins freely and spins when power is applied manually (broke the rear housing putting back together so will need to buy a new one).

So next thought was the relay, but it’s clicking on when the wiper switch is pressed and testing the voltage it appears to be ok.

So next thought was maybe a wire has snapped, but tested the continuity from each of the relay outputs to the motor plug and was all fine.

I also tested continuity between negative and another random negative wire and was also fine.

Am I missing some thing obvious?

Going to order a new relay and take a punt on a shatpart motor.

Struggling to find the part number for the rear relay, does anyone have a link to one.

only old one for rear part number is AMR2341 ive bought the bits but havent got round to doing the above mod....so many great ideas from here but not enough time or good weather..took me three years ti fit my safari equip steering guard! wish i had a garage

Glad it’s not me being silly, I could only find AMR2341 looking on LR Workshop, which is not the correct one for the rear.

Would be nice to add the intermittent function, but at this point, I’m just keen to rule out the relay! 2011 CSW XS 90
