I had a blow out at 75mph on the autobahn earlier in the year... luckily I wasn't going faster...

in my Full fat RR, wasn't a fun experience, changed it myself side of the road and typically it was the side next to the passing traffic.

Over here at the NCT (your MOT) you get a note on your test sheet when your tyres reach six years of age. My 200 tdi does not do a lot of miles so tyres last on that but I got a notification on my last test about the age. They were six years old this year. They have no cracks if they had I'd change them.

i was bloody lucky to get the car into the layby full stop, i was practically at the end of the layby there.
The AA had the lights on which gave me some cover, so we could reverse it further back and in. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
