BF Goodrich AT KO3, coming in 2023
A new version of the BFG AT is on it's way, with the first sizes due to be released in the USA in early 2023.
The full range of sizes will take a some time to be available. 16" sizes will probably be some of the last released, due to the relatively small number sold and the market for new trucks now using 17" or bigger wheels.
Europe (and UK) release dates are usually 6 months to 1 year behind the US.

Interesting news - thanks for sharing. They look 'blockier', like the KM3. JB

I bet they still won't make a 255/85x16 version! Big Cry

I hope we get another stock up of the current ko2’s before they come out over here! Can’t wait that long for another set!

Of course not. If they did they'd never sell any other sizes Rolling with laughter

Very interesting. I shall have to wait a bit longer to see what these are like. My current KO2's have done 54k miles and still have plenty of tread left but are starting to hum fairly. James

Great. Maybe the new ones will actually have some grip on wet roads.

I still have no issues with my KO2'S in the wet. Just last weekend I had to do an emergency stop on on a wet greasy road and they anchored up just fine. James

I’ve seen a couple of people mention their bfg at’s are poor on wet tarmac, but as with you JOW, I’ve had no issues at all with my Ko2’s either, brilliant tyre, far better in every way than the general grabbers I had previously, with which I had a bit of a nasty eye opener with those on wet tarmac, they seemed to like to slide, a lot!
Maybe worth noting both sets of tyres were 235 85/16 so I cant really speak for other tyre sizes

I’ve got 265/75/16 ko2s I’ve covered about 11k mostly on cold wet Scottish roads and I’ve not found their grip lacking, no difference to my Grabbler AT3s that i had before.

I seem to remember that there are two versions of the KO, one with the 3 peaks symbol and one without. I'm not sure if this means a difference in compound and hence possibly wet grip. Anyone know?

It cold just be driving style.

I did a track day in my 90 and was stunned when we had a little bit of rain, on the first turn I thought I must have a puncture, by the third turn it howled out a ‘one eighty’ !! But of course, I wasn’t exactly hanging about!

You mean this one Sir?

It's about Sipes (small grooves for traction) and Silica (compound) content... Deforms better (and hence grips better) on cold tarmac. Wears faster in warm weather tho... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
