Possibly not approved in UK yet but good to see OSRAM are doing a H4 DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

Definitely not approved in the UK unfortunately, and lots of other places by the look of it:

2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey

Interesting. The website says it is approved for use in Defenders in Germany, an ECE country.

I am puzzled though by the fact that I thought the problem was that the light unit had to be TA with the light source and that the resultant problem was that the light unit rather than the bulb needed LED TA. Osram is only supplying the bulb, so I don't understand haw the problem is solved.

If it really is legal it is great news.
