Hi there, unfortunately I’ve blown the engine on my 130, lost power overtaking a caravan, dipped the clutch and it ran away with itself. Cracked pistons 3 and 4.
So, long term I’m going to go bmw m57, but I could really do with a quick fix to get her back on the road and was wondering if anyone had a spare/ knew of one? Speak to Marcus at MW machines about a 3-4 week turnaround and may have a engine and box ready to go? 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

Thanks for that, yep definately the way to go, problem is I’m moving my workshop, having work done on the house that I’m helping with before builders get here, trying to carry out existing work jobs and also trying to turn the business to a new course… so a drop in engine would be great atm!
I have messaged mw about a kit and have a donor ready, it’s just the hassle.. thing is I’d then be into retrimming inside for the auto shifter, upping the brakes etc etc etc and I’ve just spent a month converting the back! Just get Marcus to do it for you you can sort brakes later and auto console is easy to sort 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

It’s too much time off the road to wait for him to do I fear.. and the cost…
