Friday night camp out
I decided to camp out Friday night on the way back from Anglesey to home. Why not, it is a beautiful part of the country and it would be rude not to. Right?!

It would also be a great opportunity to try out my new OzTent RS1 swag/tent and stretcher.

So heading off to one of my favourite over night spots knowing that it was an easy drive and it was almost certain that I would be alone for the night. How wrong could I be... I turn up a little before sunset and there are not one but two other groups that had beaten me to the One Way Lake.

A nice little 90 and in the distance a Freelander 1. Bloke in the 90 looks right shifty as I turn up and I am positive he is thinking "oh no I hope they don't tell me to move on as I am comfy and my tent is pitched"...

I am sure that Dave12345 can confirm this or not Wink

Great to meet you Dave Thumbs Up Had a super night out chewing the LR fat and it was marvellous to team up to drive a few lanes leading from Llyn Brenig, to Corwen, to the Ceriog valley and back over to Glyndyfrdwy. It seemed like the bad weather was stalking us the entire way around, but there was almost no surface water, remarkably dusty lanes.

Here are a few photos.

Haha more specifically “I can’t move on...the wine is open!”

Brilliant weekend, thanks for the guidance around the lanes and the photos, it was good to finally get some dirt (or dust!) on the landy! I’m sure we’ll head out again at some point.

Small world meeting a familiar forum name all the way out there!

Hi Andylee, appreciate the compliment! They’re Landy’s own Sawtooth alloys.
