2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
As an aside my new to me 90 came with a warn 9.5xp. I am replacing it with a cheaper TDS as I know the TDS will not let me down if it sits unused for a while, 18mths for example. The warns were prone to condensation issues in the motors. The one I have has a new motor by previous owner so expect that suffered the same issue, looking at the fairlead, and condition of it its not done much. Cheers

2006 Defender 110 Td5 USW Zermatt Silver
Had most winches over the years, and now run a Winchmax which has been fantastic, especially for the cost. Always works. Mine will sit for months and months doing nothing then have to work solidly for 2-4 days. The Winchmax has never missed a beat. Looks good, two wireless or wire remotes, synthetic rope, and can be bought with a Defender wiring kit.

Black version on mine.

Thanks all. I have pulled the trigger on a 2nd hand Superwinch ep9. I will strip it down and inspect it. It's not coming with a solenoid, rope etc. so will need to source those separately.

Did see a used Husky on ebay if anyone else was interested in that, seemed at a reasonable price.

Yep that would do it. Bowrite has larger contact areas and better sealing same a GP ones. Cheers
